Kose Haus products are designed to endure the beautiful chaos of childhood. A little care goes a long way in keeping them looking their best for years — and for the next child who inherits them.
The One (birch ply frame)
- Daily cleaning: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. A drop of mild dish soap is fine for food residue.
- Stains: For stubborn marks, use a paste of baking soda and water. Apply gently, wipe clean and dry.
- Avoid: Bleach, ammonia-based cleaners, abrasive scouring pads, and excessive water. Do not submerge any part of the frame.
- Sunlight: Birch plywood will naturally develop a warmer patina over time. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent uneven fading.
- Storage: If storing long-term, fold flat, wipe clean, and keep in a dry environment.
Silicone accessories
Tray protectors, food catchers, suction toys, eating sets and stacking cups are made from food-grade silicone.
- Dishwasher safe: Place on the top rack. Heat-resistant up to 220°C.
- Hand wash: Warm water and mild soap.
- Sterilising: Boiling water or steam steriliser for items used by children under 12 months.
- Avoid: Sharp utensils directly on silicone surfaces.
Wooden toys
Rainbow stackers, stacking sets, wobble boards and object permanence boxes are made from solid hardwood with non-toxic finishes.
- Clean: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not soak or submerge.
- Condition: If the wood feels dry, apply a thin coat of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax polish and buff with a soft cloth.
- Avoid: Prolonged moisture, direct heat, and harsh chemical cleaners.
Seat padding
- Cover: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Air dry flat.
- Foam insert: Spot clean only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
